The Yuletide season requires loads of planning, conceptualizing and decorating activities.  This is actually a good time for families to bond and spend quality time with their loved ones.  Every member of the family will get a chance to contribute on how your house will look like and what theme should inspire your Christmas decorations.  And if you happen to be a cat and has a cat, your baby may also have a contribution to your Christmas experience this year.  Imagine your Christmas theme this year with a touch of the felines.  Your cat will definitely wear that quizzical look on its face as it sees all those kitty inspired features of your Christmas decoration.  We can start from your Christmas tree.

The best possible way to put on a “cattish” feel in your Christmas tree is by putting on Christmas cat ornaments as the major detail of your Christmas tree design.  You can easily find Christmas cat ornaments for sale in the department stores or better make your own Christmas cat ornaments to add more personal touch in your tree.  And what is best about making your own Christmas cat ornaments is that you can do it with your kids!  All you need are some handy materials, cutting tools, painting sets and sheer creativity.

One problem that you may encounter, if you ever consider this as a problem is when your kitty cat got really curious about those enticing “cat Christmas balls” or “cat Christmas bells” hanging on  your tree.  I for one actually do not find this as a problem.  In fact, I enjoy seeing my feline friend exquisitely playing with my Christmas tree decorations.  As long as she won’t eat the Christmas lights of course.  At any rate if you find this cat behavior quite disturbing I have the right Christmas cat ornament for you.

This Christmas, cat ornaments that you will work on with your kids will beautify your Christmas tree and warn you when your cat starts attacking your decorations.  Here’s how:  You will need those empty plastic Easter eggs, colorful wires, some jingle-bells, painting materials, wire cutters, felt papers, glue, glitters and a small drill or a push pin.  What you need to do is have the plastic Easter eggs into halves.  Start putting on designs on your halved plastic Easter eggs.  You can use glue and glitters, felt paper cut outs or your painting materials.  Just remember that it should be “cattish”.  Therefore you can draw cats, mittens or anything that has something to do with cats on your halved plastic Easter eggs.  When your done set aside your masterpieces and start cutting the wires three to four inches in length.  Then twist-tie the colorful wires onto your jingle-bells.  After doing this, your masterpieces are most likely dry and safe to touch, so you can now put a hole in the tops of your now designed halved plastic Easter eggs by using your small drill or by heating a push pin through a lighter and pressing the heated point onto the top of the halved plastic Easter egg.  Then you can insert those colorful wires now with jingle-bells through the hole.  Loop the end of the around your finger and twist tie it to the base.  Wallah!  You have your cat Christmas bells ready for the hanging.  If you want cat Christmas balls you can actually merge back the halved plastic Easter eggs and they will transform into cat Christmas balls.  After hanging, appreciate the team effort and when you hear the bells ringing, the culprit is on the loose.
