Giving a cat pills are like giving pills to small kids. Your cat would never want to swallow a thick formed pill to get it inside his throat. If you try to get some pill in the cat’s mouth, it will surely try to fight against it and also it will take it out with the help of his nails or tooth. It is really hard to make any cat some consume something in solid.  So it is very natural that cats do not prefer some thing in hard instead they can swallow anything given in liquid form.

The best way to give your cat the pills are through crushing the pills and making it powder. You should then add the powder along with the some liquid form of food. It could also be milk or the water, take it in some higher quantity and feed it to your cat. If you give them in a solid form they would surely fight to take but instead in a liquid form, they would be totally unaware that they took some medicines. Be sure that the quantity of liquid which you take is quite high because sometimes little amount of liquid could cause your cat taste sour or much odd.

Well most of us are not best in shooting so it better to avoid such risk. The other way would be using your hand and dropping the pill in cat’s mouth. You should be very careful in doing such activities. You have to open the cat’s mouth very slowly and gently so that it does not hurt your cat. Later just hit the pill inside the cat’s mouth but be sure that you hit behind the throat because if it hits at wrong side, your cat will be unable to breathe or it will sometimes try to take it out with his teeth. Sometimes shooting in wrong side might cause some hurt or pain so it is very much necessary to be careful while you this techniques.

There are many other ways to make your cat consume the medicine. If you do not find a best way to make, your cat consumes the medicine. Then one should straightly go to a good chemist and get some liquid or gel flavored medicine, which could enable your cat to consume it. But sometimes these kinds of medicines are quite expensive so it is better to learn any of the above treatment and make your cat to consume the pills.
